Applying in Your Senior Year of High School

You may apply to be a first-year student if you have not attended any post-secondary institutions.

How to Apply to Franklin College

  1. Complete the application. You may select either the online, paper or Common Application option.
  2. Send us your official high school transcript. You may mail it or your guidance office or Parchment may send it.
  3. OPTIONAL: Send us your SAT or ACT scores. Our SAT code is 1228 and our ACT code is 1194. Franklin College will also accept SAT or ACT test scores that are listed on your high school transcript, sent directly from a school counselor or a copy of your score report that shows your full name.  They do not have to be sent from the official testing agency.

Our online application is always free all year-round using the online Franklin College application or the Common Application.

Writing Samples

While not required, we encourage you to submit a personal statement or writing sample for a more thorough evaluation of your application. Franklin College accepts both SAT and ACT scores, and encourages students to take the writing portion of the ACT for admission and placement purposes.
