Mrs. O'Neal holds a bachelor's degree and three levels of Orff certification from Anderson University. She joined the music department in 2010 where she enjoys teaching class piano, applied piano, as well as serving as the staff accompanist.
Mrs. O'Neal has taught, for the past 6 years, as an elementary music teacher in various schools in east central Illinois, and for 1 year at Fall Creek Elementary in the Hamilton Southeastern School District. During her time as a public school teacher, she was actively involved in the Heart of Illinois Orff Chapter, as well as the American Orff Schulwerk Association. She has also presented at several Orff chapter meetings, as well as the 2009 Illinois Music Educator's Conference. Mrs. O'Neal also enjoyed mentoring and teaching 2 student teachers during her time in public schools.
In her spare time Mrs. O'Neal enjoys traveling with her husband, Ben, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking, biking, hiking, watching football, and enjoying time with family and friends.
