Professor Sherri Hall studied at Heidelberg College, Bowling Green State University, Wright State University and Ohio University. She is currently Director of Teacher Education for Secondary Education and serves as the Coordinator of Secondary Field Placements. Prior to coming to FC, Professor Hall taught for 20 years in the public schools, grades 6-12. During her time in secondary education, she served as department chair, mentor teacher, president of two educational leadership organizations, member of several state accreditation site visits, and presented at various conferences. In addition to her work in the classroom at FC, she serves as advisor to Kappa Delta Rho fraternity and as a past president of the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Franklin. Her research interests include literacy (especially young adult), censorship and professional development.
