Kevin Elixman is the college's first full-time sports information director and is a member of the public relations office. His primary roles are to keep statistics and records, provide all information for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA, produce publications, supervise student assistants and serve as the publicity arm of Franklin College's intercollegiate athletic programs. He also assists with photography work.

Elixman graduated from Ball State University in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and previously was a sports writer at the Daily Journal in Johnson County and a sports editor at The Daily Reporter in Greenfield, Ind., until arriving at Franklin College in 1990.

In his spare time, Elixman enjoys keeping up with the news of the day and following sports, especially auto racing. He is a member of Greenwood Christian Church.
