Dr. Nazir Khatri has been teaching at Franklin College since 1989. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Karachi. His Ph.D. is from the University of Nebraska. He teaches biochemistry, analytical and organic chemistry courses. He involves students in research projects like computer modeling of organic and biological molecules, synthesis of medicinally important heterocyclic compounds, and development of analytical methods using high performance liquid chromatography for compounds that occur in animal tissue.
