Douglas Burker is a 1993 Franklin College graduate and a campus security officer. His duties span all areas of campus safety, including that of students, faculty, staff and facilities.

In college, Burker majored in political science and interned with the Johnson County prosecutor's office and the Johnson County Probation Department. Upon graduating, he worked as a probation officer for the Brown County Circuit Court. He joined the college security department in 2006.

When he is off duty, Burker works as a Realtor for Jarvis Realty Group in Franklin and is a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Burker is married and has three children.
