Team Griz Advances in NCAA Div. III Football Playoffs

The Franklin College football team will take on the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Division III football playoffs in Belton, Texas on Saturday, Nov. 24.The Grizzlies, now 9-2 overall and ranked 20th in the American Football Coaches Association's D-III Top 25 poll, face the second-ranked Crusaders (11-0) for the first time.
Kickoff is set for noon Central Standard Time. FC advanced to the second round by routing Adrian College 42-10 on the road on Saturday while Mary Hardin-Baylor rolled past Louisiana College 59-20.
Belton, Texas is located south of Dallas roughly halfway between Waco and Austin.
Franklin College fans may purchase general admission tickets just prior to Saturday's playoff clash at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
The ticket windows at Tiger Field will open at 10:30 a.m. CST Saturday.
Tickets are priced at $8 each for adults and $4 each for students (ages 3 and up) and senior citizens (ages 60 and up).
Sales will be limited to UMHB season ticket holders and campus community before Wednesday morning.
