Strategic Plan

Thanks to a year of good work by many faculty, staff, students, and trustees—those who participated directly on planning teams and those who reviewed and responded to successive drafts—Franklin College has a new strategic plan for 2013, 2014, and 2015.  As a roadmap for the College, our new strategic plan is built on the value of partnerships, and it is through partnerships that it will develop and shape our institution.  The new plan was adopted by the Board of Trustees in February 2013.

Each of the plan's goals has a sponsor whose name is in capital letters.  Each of the strategies for those goals is accompanied by ways to measure progress, and each strategy has one or more "success owners" whose names are in parentheses.

The President's Cabinet will now start to use the new strategic plan to guide work, both in and between designated areas of responsibility.  Work with the plan will be coordinated by Lisa Fears, Vice President for Planning, Plant, and Technology.  Please be in touch with Lisa to share questions, suggestions, and ideas about how we can best move from a period of "planning the work" into several years of "working the plan."
